I must here make a side note: People say that you absolutely must see France if you visit Europe, but I beg to differ. Portugal is amazing. The people are SO nice (tied with Chile for the nicest citizens), they tolerate your butchering of their language, transport is cheap and great. Postal system also actually functions as a way of sending stuff, not simply a way of disposing of belongings that are important to you and your correspondant (as is the case in France). Also, they have the most consistently good chocolate mousses.
Herewith:
Sun sets over Braga, Portugal.
Square on the Douro; if you look closely that is actually a brio caveman in the fountain. Porto, Portugal.
Port transport boat, retired, currently only transporting tourists. Porto, Portugal.
Definitely the lovliest train station. Aveiro, Portugal.
Ovos moles (squishy eggs). Once we finally got over the name and bought them, they weren't so strange. But not nerely as nice as pasteis de nata. Aveiro, Portugal.
